i’m so sorry for the lack of news here. this week is busy busy and next week is my very first test at the university ever… scared here!
so last night when i had a melt down because there is so much to do and i havn’t got at least one christmas present jet i decided to “build” my chritmas tree.

after i had the best christmas tree ever last year, i couldn’t really decide on a better or at least an as nice version of a tree. so i went for this minimalistic one. just fairy-lights taped to the wall. to decorate this tree i made a little black lens filter for my camera. if you but it in front of your lens it’ll make all the little lights go into heart shapes if they are out of focus. cute right?

before i started to think of presents this year, i decided how i want to tag them – in summer. yes! i went on a climbing trip one evening and found those cute little fern plants growing on the rocks next to my climbing route. that’s when i knew they had to come with me.

and this is what i made out of them. don’t they look like little trees? super cute! :) what do you think?

when i first moved into my flat i put nails into the wall next to my dressing table for all my necklaces. but now more than a year has passed and there isn’t any space left for my jewellery on the wall. so i turned this branch into a jewellery holder.

let me tell you, it’s not easy to work with strings if a tiny kitten is your new flatmate ;)

if you’d like to try this for yourself it’s really easy. paint a branch with white acryl colors, let it dry, probably ad a second layer of color. put the strings around and use them as a hanging system at the same time.

the clouds are having a party over vienna for the last few days..

mixing and painting with watercolours somehow calms my mind, just like snow.. so please… just let it snow some more..!
