the first time i spotted dotted (…hihi) pants was in london. i nearly bought them but in the end i thought… you never wear pants, why should you spend money on these?
well… now that some month have passed and i still find myself longing for pants like these. partly because the seem to appear everywhere. so i decided, like always, i’m going to do some myself. i never wear my pants, so i took these dark green pair and some fabric paint. a hole puncher and here we go. super easy…

they look kind of fun. i don’t know if i’ll wear them often but at least i didn’t spend so much money ;)

the christmas presents for my dear friends are these delicious goodies.
introducing: christmas muesliit’s super easy and so good. just mix oat flakes with honey and gingerbread spices. put them in the oven and wait for 15 minutes. after about 6 minutes open the oven stir the muesli and add some almonds. wait for the rest of the time to bake your muesli and let it dry afterwards. i hope everyone will like it :)

oh and pan wanted to say hi again. he loves to be around my camera… or maybe just in the center of attention all the time.

i’ve been trying to make this little snow globe necklace for days now.
at first i tried to use superglue to stick the tiny deer to the ground of the glas ball, this didn’t end well. not only did i nearly glue my fingers together but the snow globe went all foggy and the deer fell down andways… so much for super glue huh?

now i tried to glue it there with plain craft glue. i put in the moss first with a drop of glue… pushed the moss down with a pair of tweezers and then positioned the deer there. also with the tweezers. this is not easy and super annoying. but it looks cute now. the only other problem is… you can’t really photograph this tiny little something through the glas… i how you can imagine how cute it looks?

when my friends are celebrating their birthday i always try to do something special for them. i don’t know if they always like it ;) but i just don’t like to buy stuff. some people are just not pleased with self made things, like my sis, but when you’re new to my circles i can always give it a first try. so when birgits birthday came along i new this was a good choice. this is a chalk bag for those of you who don’t climb. i made one for myself some month ago too.
how do you handle birthday presents?
oh and the fabric is from giraffenland, cute huh?

i think i’ve never posted an outfit bevore right? well that’s not because i don’t like what i wear… it just never occurred to me also this is not exactly a fashion blog ;). anyways, yesterday i sewed a skirt. that’s nothing special considering the last few years i sewed a lot of skirts for myself… but this year i’ve been really lazy. i don’t know why exactly but somehow i just don’t like my skirts anymore and that’s probably why i stopped making them.
but when i dyed this linen last week i thought it would look nice as a skirt… also i need something to wear at fashioncamp vienna which is happening this weekend! i don’t want to look strange between all those pretty fashion ladies so what do you think? can i wear this, yes or no?

sometimes i get bored by my sketchbook(s) 1,2,3,4…, or it’s suddenly not the right size, or i find sketches i made some time ago i can’t look at because they make me sad or i just don’t like them – that’s when i stop using my sketchbook. of course i can’t really handle anything without a sketchbook and i make a new one.
this time i made verry thin booklets. would you like to know how you can do one yourself?
it’s really easy, see below!

A lovely friend from work brought me five of her little plants yesterday. Three tomato plants and two paprika plants. I’m not so much a green thumb person, although my grandparents are both gardeners. I can name most of the flowers that grow in the woods around Vienna but sadly when it comes to living with me they just give up… even my fern died a couple of month ago.
But this time everything is going to be different, i can feel it. So after i got up super early today and went for a swim with my sis, i planted the little ones into white planters and positioned them on the balcony. Not pretty enough for me, so i made little name tags too. I took some pictures and made a tutorial too. Have fun.
You’ll need: scissors, two wooden spoons, something to make little holes, twine, paper and stamps or a pencil.
1. put tiny holes into both of your wooden spoons.
2. stamp the names of your plants onto the paper and also make sure to get holes into the paper
3. use your twine to fix the name tags to your spoon
4. knot at the back and but your spoon tags into the planters

i finally found some time to customize a pair of black shoes i recently bought :) i wanted to try this since i saw some glittering shoes at zara. i didn’t want to spend so much money so i decided to do this. just in case you feel the same way about it i captured the process and made a tutorial :) here we go!
click the picture to zoom in :)
Step 1: you need: Shoes, Tacky Glue (it turns transparent don’t be scared), 40g Glitter, a brush and some time ;) – get started by deciding which part of your shoes you want to sparkle. you can of course put glitter all over too! I used masking tape to separate the parts I wanted to stay black and the glittery ones.
Step 2: mix glue and glitter, don’t be afraid to use the glitter ok?
Step 3: put on the first layer of glue/glitter using the brush
Step 4: let the first layer dry and put one the next one… I think it took me 5 layers to get the glitter state you can see in the end.
Step 5: let the shoes dry over night, or until they are fully dry. than get rid of the masking tape… i had a shock moment when i did that step, because it’s tricky… i used a pair of tweezers to get every last bit that got stuck under the glitter.
Step 6: i also changed the laces
Step 7: you can go out now and spread some glitter to the world ;)
have fun!
