Vienna is so not boring! but this little bowl is exactly what i would want for my imaginary huge white flat… talking about huge white places:
i love the old ankerfabrik, such a great place to have a very nice event happening! could you imagine living in such huge place… all white and nothing in it? if only i was rich…

anyway this weekend the edelstoff design market took place there, again. last time i went you could read it over at the we love handmade blog.

pretty delicate jewelery

this time there where a lot more new designers i really enjoyed. especially the pretty colors from Linusch took me of guard.
i bought some fabric from giraffenland again, these fabrics are so nice. i like all the patterns and colors… why can’t i buy all of them? ah yeah i already have a cupboard full of that stuff… ;)
also i loved the buttons from walkingdesaster cute cute stuff!

yesterday i took a day trip to the zoo with my sister and her bf. i haven’t been to the zoo for some time and it was much fun to see all the baby animals and how improved the whole zoo is now. i especially enjoyed the rain forest house, even though it’s way to hot in there :) there was a cave where bats flew around my head and you could almost feel their tiny wings when they passed your face by an inch.

i really like going to the zoo, not only because animals are always fun to look at but also because of the joy you can see in everyone’s faces. there are kids who are overwhelmed by all the tiny and huge animals the only knew from picture books or from school. adults too are so different in the zoo, or at least that’s how i experience it. when was your last visit to a zoo?

last week etsy invited everyone to make a craftparty. i was in croatia so i could’t come to the party the girls from welovehandmade threw… but the craft kit came some days later and we decided to give it another go. the box etsy sent was filled with cute little bits and ideas to fill an evening with. so we chatted, drank and made a pompom-garland.

anna even made some delicious veggi burgers which we could decorate with the tiny cocktail flags.
i love all the illustrations blinkblink designed for etsy and the fabric which came with the other stuff is really nice to… i got a little piece and i’m thinking of a little purse or a tiny bag.

did you join a craft party last week?

i’m back from my adventure in croatia. it was so much fun and so nice to be at the sea with friends… especially maja because i never see her! :*

we stayed at her house for some days and enjoyed the sea and walked around the city and an abandoned factory.

then we camped some nights at the island losinj. i saw a scorpio! and a snake… wild life people! i loved every bit of it even when i got horrible toothache and a fever for the last two days.

my first red-scale disaster…
well remember the last time i developed some red-scale film?… turns out i never even used the film. because now there are all the pictures i thought i’d lost.

the good thing… feeling good about finding something you thought was gone.
the other side… these pictures where taken more than a year ago… some memories i just don’t want to revisit. but this is how it is.. life and lemons – you add sugar i suppose :)

have you ever used a red-scale? is this high contrast normal or did i do something wrong? maybe just because i used the cheapest film developer i could find :)
